Painfully Traditional Koi
June 10th, 2008
The title says it all. Not because he hurt and even though this is my business and I shouldn’t say that and there were some times he wasn’t too happy. The fact of the matter this is the most straight up traditional piece I have ever done.
This was artwork taken from a photo of an old Japanese back piece that consisted of just one lone fish. I did this as close too humanly possible in regard to shape, size color and every scale. I’m very pleased with the final result and in the next months we will be adding flowers and traditional wind and water bars
