Dragon Koi

This is done on the artist Noel that works at my shop. This is a Koi Fish turning into a Dragon. It marks a transitional time in his life like the transition of the koi to dragon. The koi line work is form the new filip leu dragons flash book but the shading was free styled by me. Noel added the waves to the original art and made them more organic then the traditional more uniform waves.
I could tell that the tattoo felt…lets just say it was emotional for him. We filmed the process and should have the video up soon.
