Sail Fish

I had a couple come in from Florida looking to get a Tattoo from San Francisco. He wasn’t too picky, he said he might want a Koi fish to go with the other souvenir koi fish tattoo he got some where else. Koi fish are cool but if some one is going to get a tattoo for the sake of getting one I want it to be one he/she will rememebr and not think of it as just the tattoo they got in San Francisco.

He said he loved fish so I asked what he was into and mentioned an underwater artist who does a lot of game fishing art so I mentioned I would enjoy doing a sword or sail fish. He Liked the Idea and this is what I came up with

Sail Fish

Tatsoul 270 Artist Chair Review

I picked up the Tatsoul 270 Artist Chair last month. I wanted to wait and see how it worked before writing about it. I get a lot of stuff from them so far they haven’t let me down and this item included. Many companies make items for the client and the artist as well.

Most Tattoo supply companies just focus on client comfort and the artist is left on the side lines. If you go to any supply website they have the basic rolling stools if anything or maybe a rolling chair but Tatsoul was the first to actually focus on the artist for once.

The chair is built solid. Lets face it like computer programmers some artist’s shop in the husky section. This chair has a solid metal base and structure that isn’t going to give out from fatigue and constant use. It has double padding so being in one position for several hours isn’t going to cause you discomfort. The cover is heavy duty vinyl so it can be cleaned easily and hold up from excessive use. The seat is wider then most chairs with a molded base for more cradling then a basic office chair.

When other artists come into the shop. They think my Tatsoul 370’s (tattoo client chair/table) are cool but when they see the new artist chair that’s what really peeks their interest. Artists get the hunchback of Notre Dame stance from the hovering we do when working all day. The 270 lets you turn the chair around and support your chest so you don’t have to hunch saving your back from extra stress. The chair has many different adjustments seen in the videos below from the Tatsoul website. It raises and lowers very effortlessly and has two different back adjustments. One to lower the back rest and one to tilt the seat back. Things you won’t get from a regular chair from office depot.

Feel free to call the customer support of Tatsoul for any questions they are more then friendly and once you order your new Tatsoul 270 you won’t regret it.
