I am a freelance Illustrator and Tattooist. I have been tattooing for 8 years now starting in late 1999 and tattooing full time in 2001. I learned how to tattoo by the guys of Eye Spy Tattoo in Petaluma California.
From there I went on to tattoo at two other locations before deciding to go back to school and complete my BFA in Illustration from the Academy Of Art University San Francisco. I’m in my fourth year at the Academy and I have at least another a year to a year and a half till graduation.
As of now I work from home till I can open my own studio I help moderate a website for beginning tattoo artists http://forum.ink-trails.com it was started buy a guy I met to teach ho wto tattoo in trade for website help you can check out his and his brothers progress at http://www.ink-trails.com.
When it comes to tattoos I can do a variety of styles; color, black and gray and solid black. There isn’t much I try to avoid but I tend to stay away from armbands for that fact that they cut off the arm from adding on other work.
Tattoos are addictive and once someone gets a tattoo they want more. People who get armbands suffer buyers remorse
When it comes to Illustration I am well versed in many media. I’m particularly fond of doing pencil drawings and works on toned paper. I meet most deadlines assuring client satisfaction. I will do what I can to make it right. I love doing humorous art with a lighthearted feel.
