Space Koi

This is the beginning of a Neo-traditional Koi Sleeve. The client wanted something asian but not your typical Koi Tattoo. He liked the outer space nebula I did on two other people and wanted to incorporate that somehow into the piece.
This is the art I drew up. I suggested in having a Metallic Koi flying up changing the tattoo into a futuristic type Robotic Koi and a satellite type flower floating in front of a sun that is sucking up debris and comets.
I was able to stencil the fish and flowers but the rest was hand drawn
The only thing we really changed form the original sketch to the start of the actual tattoo were the Maple leaves. He felt that they looked too much like marijuana and wanted to stay away from that.
