Asian Mask

This is an Asian mask I did for my buddy. I don’t know if you consider it an Oni or a Hanya but to me it looks like a mix of viking and muppet, we joked about that. He supplied the art, he did a rough concept of it from found Asian Art of it stretched and manipulated. Here is the process as we did it from line work to complete. The photos are a little rough and with the blood still weeping out the gradients look rough and the mouth has some weird shine not letting all the depth show through.
