This girl wanted to get a tattoo to combine her heart tattoo and a tribute tattoo we will be doing undernieth it. She wanted to tie them in some way and if she ever wanted to add more make it so they weren’t a patch work of random tattoos. She thought maybe have it look like a patchwork quilt. I suggested making it look like half a corset.

We ended up doing the corset and drew it on free hand before outlining. She wanted it to look ripped so the other tattoo would show threw.

This is the first sitting of the line work we’ll start to shade and add more pattern that will be more subtle on the inside.

Here is the second stage on the Bio-mech sleeve. We did the blue on top and added orange to the inner part. I’m going to go in and do more form shading and start the bright back ground. This is taking awhile because the guy is like 6′6″ and has huge arms and we are going for total skin saturation where it looks painted on.

Here is a chest tattoo the guy wanted to have a pic of a sun sucking in comets and swirly space debris along with a solar flare. This is also a cover up. We then added some UV highlights.
For those of you who have never used UV ink here are some tips. It is not a solid color so don’t use it instead of regual ink, It is as thin as gray wash, Don’t mix with other inks thinking it will super charge them with black light powers. Make sure they go on last. Like in the fresh pic bleeding will cover it and not show the full black light potential. The white didn’t come in yet and their excuse was half the staff was on Maturnity leave WTF? So here it is I’m sure someone will knit pick.
